Our consultants are all highly qualified in thier fields and hold nationally recognised qualifications in health, safety and training. They have assisted in developing safety management systems and advised clients on health and safety matters in a broad range of industries.

Our Managing Director

John Christie (Justice of the Peace - NT & WA) started SRT Group Pty Ltd to provide HSEQ and Training solutions that were effective for industry, he is a former Police Officer with many years experience in investigations and critical incident management and has 19 years health, safety, risk management & training experience in mining, oil and gas, major multi-billion dollar construction projects, transport and logistics, power generation, higher education and Government and Non-Government sectors. John holds a Masters Degree in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety, Diploma of Business, Certificate IV in Training and Education, Lead Auditor qualifications in OHS & Quality Management Systems, and accredited HAZOP facilitator, WA WorkSafe Workplan Assessor, Advanced TapRooT Investigtor and Advanced Root Cause Analysis Team Leader.

He is a Chartered Professional Member of the Safety Institute of Australia, a Member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists, a Member of the Risk Management Institute of Australasia, a Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and a Board Member of the Mining and Resources Contractors Safety Training Association (MARCSTA). John is an accredited training provider with MARCSTA (RTO 1964) and an approved co-provider with Allens Training (RTO 90909).
